Sludge is a semi-solid slurry that can be produced from a range of industrial processes, from water treatment, wastewater treatment or on-site sanitation systems.
Other names used for vacuum trucks: vacuum tanker, 'Sucker truck' (in Australia) or 'Sewer Sucker', 'Hydro-vac', or 'vac-trucks' (in Canada). Slang terms include: 'honey truck', 'honey sucker' (in India and South Africa), and 'honeywagon', all (probably) derived from honey bucket.

Description: Model has a brown body on a black chassis and is fitted with a black seat and a white cab roof; gold 12 spoke wheels; the logo is on both sides of the tank with number '3' in white on both cab doors; 'IMPERIAL’ in gold on white roof fascia.

Variations: Red 12 spoke wheels with whitewall tyres or gold 12 spoke wheels with plain black tyres.

Notes: Tangley Models and Trainline Models bought the designs of the original Creak models after Eric Creak stopped producing the Alternative Collection. These models, although Creaks models, have no numbers underneath on the baseplates but are numbered on the box - These models are just as desirable in their own right.
